Marketing & Communications Coordinator (Bilingual)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a bilingual, results-driven Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join Liberty Mutual Canada’s Marketing & Communications team. You will work in collaboration with the Manager, Marketing & Communications to successfully execute internal and external communications priorities. You will support the growth of our digital presence and will partner with various internal business stakeholders to create content that will be shared across various platforms. Internally, you will support the delivery of corporate messaging across the organization. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports Liberty Mutual Canada’s internal communication efforts on a broad range of internal priorities by researching, writing, editing, proofreading, coordinating translations, posting, and developing content to be shared across various internal channels. Examples of content include internal news stories, speaking notes, promotional materials, newsletters, blogs, videos, and more
  • Works with the key internal stakeholders to align, incorporate, facilitate, and communicate key messages across the organization
  • Supports the Manager, Marketing & Communications, to manage a content calendar that outlines, summarizes, and prioritizes both internal and external communications
  • Develops and manages content for Liberty Mutual Canada’s external communication channels (website, social media, email) to increase Liberty’s digital presence and support key business objectives
  • Works with key business leaders to coordinate the creation and editing of new and existing marketing collateral, including thought leadership, infographics, sell sheets, presentations, videos, and more
  • Collaborates with teams to monitor overall website activity and content performance and determine metrics/reporting to evaluate engagement. Shares performance insights with the Manager, Marketing & Communications and provides recommendations for campaign optimization
  • Collaborates with global communications and marketing teams to support the development and promotion of Canadian content across the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism in English and French Canadian is required
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma/certificate in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing is preferred
  • At minimum, 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a communications or marketing position, with a focus on content creation required
  • Prior experience in the insurance industry is considered an asset
  • Experience managing digital platforms, including content management systems, social media accounts, and email marketing tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), content management systems (WordPress), and email marketing tools (Exact Target)
  • Strong written and verbal written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a forward-thinking and innovative mindset
  • Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Graphic design experience considered an asset
